St Peter's Garden Centre is part of the Blue Diamond group, which traces back to 1904 as the Fruit Export Company in Guernsey, founded by a group of local businessmen whose family links still feature in the business today. Blue Diamond is still owned and managed from Guernsey, and now runs 55 garden centres and around 5,000 staff across the UK and Channel Islands, with the St Peter site on Avenue de la Reine, Elizabeth II, just a couple of minutes from Jersey Airport. The centre stocks a wide range for both gardener and homemaker, and its Bay Tree Restaurant serves breakfasts (including Eggs Benedict and croissants baked in house by its own pastry chef) through to a Jersey cream tea or Royal cream tea with homemade scones, using Jersey produce wherever possible. The restaurant seats up to 134, so it doubles as a venue for celebrations, and the site is dog friendly with free parking, home delivery and disabled access.
