Jersey Lavender Farm
Working lavender farm and gift shop in St Brelade selling lavender-based products, with café.

Jersey Lavender Farm began life in 1983, when the Christie family turned a disused dairy farm in St Brelade into a working lavender farm, and the family still run it today. Each summer they harvest their own lavender by hand, along with rosemary, eucalyptus, bay laurel and cypress, and distil it on site into the oils that go into everything they sell - soaps, colognes, bath and shower gels, and pure essential oils. The farm shop stocks close to sixty products, from culinary lavender and dried buds to lavender shortbread, gift sets and homeware, and sits alongside Sprigs Café, where the lavender scones and shortbread are made in-house. Entry to the farm is free, and beyond the shop and café there's the distillery to look round, a nature trail, gardens and a wild lavender meadow walk - all pet-friendly, though dogs go on leads around the free-roaming chickens. The farm opens seasonally, from 31 March to 11 October, Tuesday to Sunday (seven days a week through July and August). A picked.je voucher works either as a paper or electronic gift and can be redeemed at the farm shop or Sprigs Café at Rue du Pont Marquet, St Brelade, or against anything in the online shop - so someone can choose their own oils, soaps or scones in person, whether or not they're planning a trip to Jersey.
